The run leg gets you to the finish line on the triathlon! You really only need a good pair of running shoes and the open air to get you started. 

RTC can take you from being a beginner runner to running fast and efficiently off the bike in triathlon and across all distances.

Everyone is welcome to the session. RTC cater for all abilities across a wide variety of events and distances. Our members range from beginners and casual runners to athletes competing in longer-distance events. Whatever your running goals are, we can help you achieve them!!!!

The session focuses on running, typically as a speed or hill session, running form, building running confidence and providing motivation to run whilst developing your run speed. 

Monday night running session at John Oxley Reserve

  • Location: John Oxley Reserve, Cnr Ogg Rd and Dohles Rocks Rd, Murrumba Downs
  • When – Monday 5pm
  • Adults and Juniors 5+
  • Equipment Need: Running shoes, active wear, a water bottle and a towel
  • Fee: per session $5 adults / juniors
  • Coach Phil Hungerford 

Wednesday night running session at Endeavour Park, Newport 

  • Meeting Point: near toilet block
  • When – Wednesday evenings, from 5pm ending at 6 pm
  • Adults 
  • Equipment Need: Running shoes, active wear, a water bottle and a towel
  • Uncoached
